Connect to teradata system from NWDS

Hi Ppl,

I have a requirement where i need to integrate SAP netweaver portal with teradata system. I've worked earlier on SAP NWDS integration with SAP but not with non SAP systems. The concept is completely new to me.

Please let me know if anyone has some info on it. Technically, am from ABAP background with knowledge on Java used in SAP Netweaver applications and wanted to know how different will be the Java coding(do i need o write SQL based statements or used advanced java concepts)

You should call teradata system using jdbc connector
