Long texts of component replaced component descrioption in CN41n

Hi PS Gurus

I encountered a small glitch in the CN41N Structure overview transaction

The first line of long text entered in the Long text tab of the component is replacing the material description in the CN41N structure overview.

I have been searching for notes but couldnt find any that was relevant

Hi,

This is the std. report and the form code is written like that only. It takes the material long text instead of material discription if it is maintained.

The same can be found in line no 170 and 172 of the report form source code.

170 * text

172 * >MEM_ID text

Cant there be anything done about it, can we modify or do something

I got a note 632547 regarding this

there is no transaction CN41N

Hi Amit,

I have tested similar scenario in test system. But this problem is not happening.

It appears to me enhancment related issue. Please check with your ABAP team.

Please try entering text in the long text tab ....first line only(if u enter in the second line then it will not appear)

and then see you will get that in CN41N report
