Moderator message: please do not post the same question in different forums

Hi Experts,

While sending fax the horizontal lines are not displaying till the end of the page.

But in the print preview the lines are displying till the end.

If this is printed using local printer the lines are printing fine but the problem is with the fax.

Please provide me a solution for this.

Regards,

Rajesh.

If you were using a printer that produced this problem, the advice would be updating the driver or contacting the basis people. But as you are sending a fax that's not posible, so my guess is you'll need to print to a pdf and then use an external program to send th fax.

Puzzling.

I've seen where the printed output doesn't match the print preview but not a fax not matching a print.

Do you use SAPConnect or the older SAPComm method for faxing?

How do you produce the horizontal lines? BOX commands, ULINE, '-', etc.?

We use SAPconnnect and i used ULINE for the horizontal lines.

And the font of the characters is also differing in the fax from the print.

Is the horizontal line that does show on the fax also done with ULINE?

What is the output format for SAPScripts/Smart Forms in SCOT? You may need to ask your BASIS team for this.

Thanks for the responses guys!!

The problem is that the deafult font on the printer and the fax machine are different.

When the fonts are made identical the horizontal line was getting printed completely.

Thanks for your time!!1
