Data Type Enhancements

We currently have a data type enhancement that is referring to a Data Type in a separate SCV. However, when we are to map the values in the message mapping, the data type enhancement (additional fields) are not reflected. How can the fields be reflected and can the values be mapped in a standard message mapping?

Perform a Usage Dependency of the SWC containing the original data type enhancement to the other SWC from SLD. Then use the datatype.

the dependency was already applied to the enhancement SCV and the original SCV where the data type is residing but the message in the message mapping was still not updated (it is currently in another SCV).

If you have created the dependency after the creation of objects, then reimport the SWC in IR. Your created object won't be lost in this case. Make sure you are using the objects under tab Basis Objects.
