Changing the storage location from one loaction to another

Hi there,

For eg in the VL02N you have plant 1000, shipping point ABCD, storage loc 01, then if you want to change 01 to 02, itshould be mainatined in OVL3.

Every delivery type has a storage loc rule that is assigned to it like MALA (shipping point / plant / storage condition), RETA (shipping point / plant / situation), MARE or any other rule.

Accordingly determination is maintained in OVL3 for 1000 / ABCD / CD ---> 01 in the above eg. If you want to change 01to 02, then you should also have a combination 1000 / ABCD / XX --> 02.

Only then it is possible to change storage loc.

So if the new storage loc i also mainatined in OVL3, thenyou canchange it in a delivery. Else not possible.

Pls note that storage loc is proposed only in a delivery not in an order. Ifyou want storage loc in an order then you need to use an user exit in MV45AFZZ.
