what are the different no ranges mainatined based on excise & series group.

Go to J1i9 click on F4 , you can find the number range objects , based on the this objects we maintain the number ranges.

J_1IEXCEXP::::: Export excise invoice number range(based on Series Grp)
J_1IEXCINV:::::: Excise invoice number(based on plant code)
J_1IEXCLOC::::: Local excise invoice number range (based on Series Grp)
J_1IEXINEX::::::: Excise invoice number for export(based on plant code)
J_1IINTPR2 :::::: Despatch serial number (based on Excise Grp)

You will be maintaining all excise number ranges based on series group. This you can find in one stroke.
Go to SNUM, input the object type (J_1IEXCEXP for exports and J_1IEXCLOC for domestic) and click on "Number ranges". There instead of giving the specific series group, press "Shift+F7" so that you can see all number ranges against the respective series group.

For No range objects you can go through T.code:SNRO and press F4.
Commonly used No. range object are
J_1excexp
(ii)J_iexcloc
(iii)J_1iintpr2
For all excise no. range object it starts with J*

For local and deemed export system will pick the number range from the object J_1IEXCLOC.
And for export (i.e BOND/NOBOND/LOUT) system will pick the number range from object J_1IEXCEXC.
This you can check in transaction SNRO.
