Storage unit management configuration steps

Hi All,

Please provide me steps for configuration of Storage Unit Management.

I want to create storage unit numbers for Destination, while TO creation or TO confirmation.

Hi,

Please follow below steps.

1.Make your warehouse SUM active.

2.Active SUM for the storage types where material is to be putaway as well as removal

3.Activate SUT in storage types.

4.Do Storage unit configuration in LE -WM-Storage units- for master data.

5. Maintain these storage types in storage type search to find the bins for putway & picking.

After doing these steps when you post good receipt in IM ,system will create TR. When this TR converts into TO system will create destination SU with destination bins.

Hi

Firstly you need to set your warehouse as SUM active

Then you have to set your individual st types as SUM active and SUT check active

The you need to set the number ranges for storage units

You need to create your su types and set the storage bin type strategies as to which st unit types are allowed in which storage type.

Then when you move stock from a none su managed location 9XX etc to a st unit managed one you will be asked for a storage unit.

This can be assigned by SAP or by you as external depending on how you set your number ranges
