XI Component Monitoring

Former Member

Hi all,

I have configured a small application wherein an idoc, MATMAS05, is sent from one SAP system to the other SAP system. I am even able to achieve the same.

But, in the component monitoring of the runtime workbench, I observed that for the particular sender/receiver system I am getting the following error:

"You cannot log on to system xxx with user XIRWBUSER".

Could you please let me know the reason behind this?

Thank you in anticipation.

Do check if sufficient roles have been assigned to that user and also confirm your password.

Also do a check in your exchange profile confirming the same .

Hi Nikhil,

I think the rwbsuwer does not have the credentials to access the runtime workbench component monitoring.

Just check in su01 if the profiles

SAP_XI_MONITOR_ABAP

SAP_XI_MONITOR_J2EE are assigned to the xirwb user.

Hope this helps,

Hi Nikhil,

this might mean that your password

fr user XIRWBUSER is not correct in the

exchange profile:

Hi,

I have created the user XIRBUSER (Service User) in my receiver system and assigned the required roles to it.

Now I changed the password of this XIRBUSER in the exchange profile. But I am still facing the same error,"You cannot log on to system xxx with user XIRWBUSER ".

Am I doing in a right manner or am I missing something?

Please advice.

Sorry. The user I created is XIRWBUSER and not XIRBUSER.

Hi Nikhil,

We were once facing the same kind of problem and when we contacted the basis team, we were told that the RWB had been locked for some maintenance reasons.

I would suggest that you find out if the RWB of your system has been locked for use or not. Though a long shot, I think it can be one reason for your problem

but is your exchange profile :

com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.name = XIRWBUSER

com.sap.aii.rwb.serviceuser.pwd = somepass

filled correctly too?

these are his roles:

SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER_MAIN

SAP_XI_RWB_SERV_USER

Hi Bhavesh,

The RWB user is getting locked because of incorrect logins. I am unlocking the user-id and trying the component monitoring. I observed that after 2-3 times, the user-id is getting locked in the business system. I assume that XI is trying to ping the business system with RWB user and with a different password, than the one provided with the exchange profile.

Please advice.

Hi Michal,

I am sure that I provided the same password in both business system and the profile.

The roles mentioned by you are added to the RWB user in the XI.

Please let me know if I am missing anything.

but:)

>>>You cannot log on to system xxx with user XIRWBUSER".

you tried loggin on the correct (xxx) system right?

1. if so then try to refresh CPA cache + all the other caches

2. if the above won't work restart the XI server

(but try 1 first!)
