I'm new in SAP.

May I know how to create a Portal Connection For MS.Net Framework 1.1 ?

How to set up RFC authorization in SAP ?

I have tried to deploy the sample project from Portal Development Kit, but failed and the remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden or (400) Bad Request.

Please provide me a solution and thank You very much.

Hi Eric,

I'm not sure I understand your questions. What connection are you trying to establish to the portal from the framework? the PDK is a platform design to enable developers to use ASP.NET-like development (in Visual Studio) in order to create content (iViews and pages) for the portal.

With regard to the deployment - what did you try to do? did you set up a valid server (one containing EP) in the server-explorer? did you check the port numer matches then one the portal uses?

About RFC - RFC is a protocol for connecting and calling functions in SAP R/3 server. I don't see a connection. It might also be a question that is irrelevant to this specific forum anyway, so you might want to ask this question elsewhere.
