I am integrating SD with FI-CA.
I would like to add the field cost center in the tab account assignment.
How can I do?

Hi,
we can maintain cost center in sales order header. without any enhancement.
Goto OVF3. click on new entries, maintain sales area, order reason (E.g 102), cost center and valid from .
Now goto VA01, enter sold-to party, material and other information.
Select the value in order reason field (E.g 102).
Now goto header details account assignment tab, you find the cost center field.

I don't think any other settings, Just I maintained entries in OVF3.
E.g sales area order reason cost center valid from
A001 10 10 007 Fast delivery 1000 11/25/2008
I entered sold-to party, material and selected order reason 007 in over view screen.
In header details > account assignment field I got cost center 1000.
If I get anything across to me let you know.

Just trying to understand your requirement -
Do you want to add a "new field", named "Cost Center"; at transaction VA01 under Tab: Account Assignment (at Item Level) under?
Is this your requirement?

Note: You may add a New Field - Cost Center, under Tab: Additional Data A/ Aditional Data B.
