Do IMG Objects in SOLAR02 Synch to ARIS?

Working on an approach to ARIS -SOLMAN synch and wondered if IMG Objects are brought over to ARIS when the synchronization is ran? Any information would help and I'll make it rain with points.

What about RICEF objects? If they are maintained in ARIS do they synch over to Solution Manager?

Hi,

I have worked extensively on ARIS solman integration with ARIS version 7.0 and solman version 4.0 as well as earlier version of both.

Initial Synchronization will bring content from Solution Manager into ARIS; if no content exists, it will setup the connection between the two

Synchronization can only be run from a single direction

1.ARIS to SAP Solution Manager (ARIS is source)

2. SAP Solution Manager to ARIS (Solution Manager is source)

Synchronization is NOT bi-directional

Synchronization Options:

1.Master Data from SAP Solution Manager to ARIS

2.Organizational Units from SAP Solution Manager to ARIS

3.Project Documentation from SAP Solution Manager to ARIS

4.General Documentation from SAP Solution Manager to ARIS

Synchronization from Solution Manager to ARIS transfers:

Thanks for the answer, that helps a lot. What about the data that is maintained on the "End User Roles" tab. Is that transfered when the synch is ran from Solution Manager to ARIS?

Hi,

In version 7.0.2 in which I work, 'end user tab'' data does not come into ARIS from Solman.

Im not sure whether its possible in the latest version 7.1.....

Hi ,

I've got two issues with the SolMan - ARIS integration and needed your advise.

1. I've synced my process structure into SolMan. In SolMan I've added a new process step with the relevant transaction and logical component maintained in the "Transactions" and "Structure" tab. Now when I transfer from SolMan to ARIS, I'm unable to see this new transaction in the corresponding ARIS model.

2. I've added a word document under the Process and Process Step node in SolMan. When I sync from SolMan to ARIS I'm unable to see the SAP documentation objects. I've logged into the ARIS DB using "Entire Method" filter. I'm not sure as to why this is happening.

We're running ARIS 7.1.0.333379 and SolMan 7.1. Is there any synchronisation issue between these two versions?
