Thanks!
1) http://<host>:50000/RE gives "404 Not found"
2) I get into http://<host>:50000 and find it has no difference with a normal WAS.
I wonder how is VIRSA used? How do I know it is a VIRSA?
Thanks!
Linda,
Virsta tools (GRC) is nothing but an application installed as a Java stand alone or a ABAP RTA(real time agent) + Java application. If you are trying to login to the RTA on the abap stack goto SE16 transaction and enter table name TSTC and in the transaction code field enter /VIRSA* and execute if you get any entries then virsa is installed on the abap stack. IF you have Virsa then the following transactions will take you to the different applications in GRC suite:
/VIRSA/VFAT Firefighter
/VIRSA/VRMT Role Expert
/VIRSA/ZVRAT SAP Compliance Calibrator
If you are looking at the Java installation, Please make sure that any tool from the GRC suite is installed on the WAS server you are looking at. Please use the following steps to see whether you have GRC suite installed on a Java (WAS) server:
Role expert: http://<server_name>:Port_Number/RE
Access Enforcer: http://<server_name>:Port_Number/AE
CC: http://<server_name>:Port_Number/webdynpro/dispatcher/virsa/ccappcomp/ComplianceCalibrator
If you get 404 page not found error then Virsa is not installed on the WAS you are looking at. Hope this helps in finding where your VIrsa was installed.
Naveen
Dear Linda,
You can access VIRSA Transactions in backend SAP system.
/VIRSA/VFAT Firefighter
/VIRSA/VRMT Role Expert
/VIRSA/ALERTGEN Activity Monitoring
/VIRSA/MICCONFIG Virsa MIC User mapping Configuration
/VIRSA/ORGUSRMAPPING Maintain ORGUSERS table
and other VIRSA transactions.
Data broswer SE16 for tables.
Also make sure that post installation configuration is completed.

Naveen
Dear Linda,
Visit service marketplace.
After installing Enterprise Role Management on a SAP NetWeaver server, use a Web browser to log on and access it. Typically the URL for Enterprise Role Management logon is: http://<server>:<port>/RE/index.jsp
Before you configure Enterprise Role Management, you must import initial system data. This data is the default system data that is pre-packaged with the system. It is the minimum set of data required for the application to function and is imported from within the application itself.
You can set up different types of connectors in Enterprise Role Management. These include Enterprise, non-SAP, SAP, and SAP EP connectors.

Naveen
Naveen,
sorry, but I cannot follow you at all here, I don't even see how this relates to the original question...
- VFAT would not be ERM (Enterprise Role Management), VFAT is the ABAP Part of SPM (Superuser Privilege Management)
- you say she should enter VFAT vconfig, then start SE16 - why would she enter VFAT first?
- the queries on the tables help nothing with the question about logging in, and they should not be used manually, anyway.
I'm closing this thread - I guess Linda has already found a way....
Frank.
Dear Lisa,
For loggging in to Virsa you would need the following:
1. Link showing the path to the application.
2. USER ID.
3.Password
You can get all this detail form your System/Basis Admin.
Regards,
Hersh.
