Reg: Clients Requirement for

Hi all,

My Client is dealing with Iron Tubes of various dimensions which are managed as Variants.

Their requirement is that their Customers must be able to log into their portal .

Give the details of his requirement (Such as Variants -sizes and Type) and must be able to get the price of the product .

Please do advice in this requirement.

Could anyone advice what is UPI ( Unit price Index) in SAP?

Hi there,

Customers login into a portal of your company. They will not & should not be able to log in into SAP system to check the details. SAP is open only to consultants & business users. Not to the customers of your client.

This linkage is possible only thriugh SAP XI.

For eg: When the customer logs into the portal he will put a query about the price of the goods for eg. Then the SAP XI calls the SD system & processes the query. In turn SAP SD will call a BDC which will post into an SAP ABAP query which picks up the material price. For this you need to maintain the condition records of the material price in PR00 for eg. SAP ABAP query will access the price maintained in the condition records.

To fulfill this requirement, you have to work with SAP XI consultant & ABAPer.
