BDLS in system refresh

HI all

I did a system refresh of BI .After running BDLS the logs in BDLS shows success. But logical systems are not getting converted.When I checked in SLG1it shows no coversion has taken place. Can any one help me to proceed further and change my logical system

have you changed the logical system name in SCC4 before you have run BDLS?

Another add: please make sure you deactivated the testrun flag, it is on by default

It was not a test run. But what I have to change in SCC4.

Hello Anish,

you need to change the logical systemname in SCC4.

Doubleclick on the client and then you have a field "logical systemname". You have to change this to your wanted new systemname.

After that the BDLS will change the logical names in the tables.

Oh ok thanks but this was already done. what I mean to tell is If I run BDSL it is showing successful .When I check BDLS logs in SLG1 it is showing error. WHy this happens and what can be done?

no need to change SCC4 before. in fact, you should not change this before. BDLS should do it for you if all is successful.

It seems that you have missed the pre system copy procedure of exporting your ALE settings....

Hey,

Please make sure that you run the BDLS from the right client

and also make sure that you run a testrun first.

only after successful test run the real run is working.
