prerequisite for Applying SP for PI 7.0

I am new to administration... Any one can u give me what are the prerequisite for applying Support Packages for SAP PI 7.0 from SP 13 to SP 15.

as per my knowledge just we need go through the sap notes....

if any thing else please let me know
