Working with BADI : Release constrained demand from SNP to DP

Hi All,

We need to release constrained demand plan from SNP to DP where we need to change the location values during release i.e. changing the location L1 to L2. We are using BADI: /SAPAPO/SDP_REL_SNP and methods CHANGE_DATA_BEFORE_READ, CHANGE_MAPPING_SNP_TO_DP to meet the requirement.

We need the follwoing substitutions:

L1 --> L2

L3 --> L2

But this method is not supporting multiple substitutions and supporting only single substitution i.e. Demand at location L1 has been changed to location L2, Demand at location L3 is not substituted to Location L1.

The above substitution is not working, can anyone help me out in this.

First of all, does SAP supports these kind of substitutions?

Please let me know if i have to do something else to achieve this...

Hi,

Just to add to my previus message, if i release demands for locations L1 and L3 sepaerately, then substitution is happeneing. Its not working if i release demand for both locations together.

Please guide me.

Try the BAdI /SAPAPO/SDP_RELDATA and method CHANGE_DATA_AFTER_SPLIT or one of the other methods.

I think the BADI you have mentioned is for "Release demand from DP to SNP". I have a requirement to release constrained demand plan from SNP to DP for which SAP has suggested BADI: /SAPAPO/SDP_REL_SNP.

Can i use the BADI : /SAPAPO/SDP_RELDATA in this case?

Please guide me.
