hello to every one

while creating material master by default i selected classification tab and i saved the material, now i want to deactivate the classification for that particular material

while creating material master we should not activate the classification tab

i know how to extend the material mm50 to extend the material , in the same way i want to deactivate the classification

Dear Rahul,

Once created, View(s) can't be dis-abled for Material Master. However, you mark this material for deletion and create a new material.

In addition to your this query, some information for knowledge-sake:

Views, are restricted/ allowed at Material-Types.

Say, for Material Type: FERT; your require certain views, out of 26-views.

And, for Material Type: HAWA; your Views requirement are different.

This could be controlled under T. Code: OMS2

Only selected views in OMS2 for particular Material-Type, will be listed-out, at the time of Material creation.

Dear Rahul

No once you activated any view in material master, it cannot be deactivated again. Of course, you can hide this view and prevent extending this view for subsequent creation of materials.

Hi

As per my knowledge concern its not possible to de activate the view for material once you create., it can be blocked for further use and can create new material.
