The Project System building block contains the configuration steps that are specific for the project system.

Also you can use IDEAS server for practise and use documents like PLM as reference.

there is book available in the market 'Project Systems Handbook', which is good for fresher.

For customisation, the following are the initial basic settings you need to do,

1. Project Profile - It will cover the control data, organisation data, planning boards, and controlling data.

2. Network Profile

To start with, Try working on IDES for customisation.
