How to run Shell Script from XI

Hi,

I'm trying to run the shell script from the XI, on exection of which a new .txt file has to be generated.

I have put the path in the command line. When I check it in SAP Logon the target file shows updated but the .txt file is not generated.

Please help on this, how to execute the Shell Script from XI or what is the error.

I have done all the steps as mentioned, but still the new .txt file is not being generated at the server after the execution of shell script.

Hi,

The file generation in local server or FTP. Through command line the file will be generated on local server only, on FTP server we can't generate file. Meanwhile check authorization for target folder for file creation.
