SAP ECC6 + Netweaver installation

I've few questions regarding instllation of ECC6 and Netweaver IDES.

How much is the hard drive and the RAM i need for ECC6 IDES installation? Also, Can I install the Netweaver (PI,BI, EP) in the same hard drive. In this case,how much HD and RAM we need? I'm planning to install on External hard drive. Howz the performance if we install it in external hard drive as compared to internal hard drive?

Also, i need information on how much it costs for 500GB and/or 1TB external hard drives in hyderabad and which is the best place to buy in hyderbad?

Hi Seerisha,

if you want to install the ECC 6.0 then you should have HD 300GB (min) from this harddisk you will use

210GB for DB

35GB for OraArchive (oraarc will increase after installation due to working)

17gb for swapping.

RAM 4GB (If 3 GB then you can add /pae switch in boot.ini file) .

this is best for you.

Hi,

You can install all your requirements in one system. You require around 400 gb of hardisk and minimum of 2 GB of RAM or more.

the best place to buy is in Chenoy trade centre near paradise center.

Hi,

Your requirement is domestic.

You required 250 GB to 400GB HDD to install mentioned products. 2 GB RAM per each instance.

Better to install all products in one shot which can solve HDD & RAM in minimum requirement
