Error F5 266 Enter a name and city for one-time account postings

hai gurus,

During the creation of Sales order in JHA1N we enter the customer name and city and enter. Some times system doesnt copy the entered data to Sales order and there by while doing billing billing document gets genrated but accounting documents fails due to Error F5 266.

Do guide me if any notes are available for the same.

Some times this inconsistency occurs and after analysis found that it occurs for Sales orders with lot of customer line items.

Hi,

We have raised the issue to SAP and have seen that when billing is generated the Address number from M/AM order is not getting updated.

So we have reversed the billing document and have generated the billing document once more and accounting document got generated.

Also we have upgraded our system with latest patches. So for past six months we haven't faced such issues and seems it has been solved by updating the patches.
