Fields and Tables?

Hi,

While determining field's name and table for a particular field(using F1), the technical data only shows component and structure for that particular field.In this case how do we determine the required field's name and table?I will appreciate if this can be answered by forum's worthy Consultants.

Hi,

Go to SE11 put your field in data type & click on where used list icon. you will find a screen in which you can see all the table of this fields.

You can find fields only from tables by SE15>ABAP dictionary>fields>table fields.

Dear Archer,

Yes , the structure field element can not be identified directly from database table .

If you post your requirement in specific , means which field you want to find , we can help .

Thanks for the help.Say the field shown is NAME1, as it is component, and its table is STRUCTURE, how do we find the field and Table ?

hi,

Goto KNA1 , enter customer number and execute , take ADRNR and goto ADRC , enter this number in ADDRNUMBER and execute , you may see NAME1 there as you have seen in structure .
