HI,

My user -id is locked

Is it possible to know the reason

whether it got locked due to wrong password entry or wat?

Pl suggest

(other that consulting basis team)

Hi,

- goto transaction SU01

- enter locked username

- and then open locked user by pressing button unlock

- and then reset user password

but if the locked iser is your ADMIN user, you can logon using SAP* and then unlock and reset password for ADMIN

Hi,

to check what is root causing your ID is locked, simply navigate to table USR02 using transaction SE11, filter your ID and take a look at column UFLAG. What value on that field show you why your user is locked.

0 : Not locked

32 : Locked by CUA admin

64 : Locked by system Administrator

128 : Locked due to incorrect logon attempts or too many failed attempts

in some cases it is possible that the value is combination of value above, eg UFLAG value is 192 it means the user is locked by administrator and user tries to logon with incorrect passwords and gets locked.

from transaction SUIM > user > With incorrect logon attempts

you can monitor :

- Number of incorrect logon attempts (users that are not locked)

- Users locked due to incorrect logon attempts

- Users locked by administration

- Users locked globally in the central system (if you are using CUA)

- Users locked locally and globally by the administration (if you are using CUA)

or by run report RSUSR006 via SE38

Hello,

If you have access to the same SAP system with any other user id, login with that, and go to transaction "SU01" and enter your user id and click on the "Lock" sign to unlock the user id. and to reset the password, click on the "pencil" sign on the extreme right to reset and enter the initial password.

If you dont have any other access to the system, please contact the basis consultant in your site and ask him to reset and unlock your user id.

Hi,

in transaction su01 once you click on unlock button it will show,

locked by incorrect logon or locked by administrator,

or you can also check the the lock unlock status details in change log Tcode: SUIM

or the report "RSUSR002"and "RSUSR200"
