Hello everybody,
which is best to define constants in Web Dynpro?
Is there a way to do this in the dictionary?
How to I get access from my coding to the dictionary?
Thanks a lot
Regards
Mario
Hi Mario,
Create a simple java file with public static final fields and put it in src\packages\<YOUR_PACKAGE_STRUCURE> and use inside any WD component entities (views, controllers etc.). So, no magic - everything like in pure java.
Or, do you have some special requirements?

Hi Mario,
Dictionary is resposible for types/structures/database tables definitions. The only thing which comes to mind regarding your idea is generation a class representation of the enumeration but I can`t imagine how dictionary type enumeration class can help with constants.
