Custom changes in interal ITS

Hello!

If I'm creating some custom changes (in templates) for some standard service (for example, WSTA) in transaction SE80 - are these changes rewritten when applying a new patch level?

All changes, which are made in the templates of standalone ITS, are retained while applying a new patch level.

Hello Rorijs,

I would recommend making a copy of the service then changing it. A Basis Support Package could overwrite your customizations if they are in the Internet Services IAC, System or Webgui. Application updates could overwrite your changes to application specific templates.
