Dear Shankar

You can force delivery split by differentiating any of the following in sale orders

- Ship To Party

- Inco Terms

- Delivery Priority

- Shipping Point

- Shipping condition

- Confirmed quantity date

Hi,

standard settings of SAP allows u to slipt the delivery when Shipping point, Ship to party, schdulelines, plant, Route are different for the line items.

If we assume that for all 40 line items all the above are same, in this case from the sales order u can sellect required items to be delivered, at the top u click on sales document, dropdown menu will apper, in that options select 'create delivery' option.

Hi,

You can Split a Delivery for many reasons, ex: when there is no enough space in a container.

The criteria for delivery split, in general , are Ship-to-party, shipping point, and Route.

You can add additional split criteria if needed. This is specified in the filed ZUKRI.

Test from SAP Material is as follows:

You can split an existing delivery into several smaller deliveries, which is

useful if there is not enough space in your truck to hold the entire delivery.

To do this, call a list and select the delivery items, partial quantities of items,

or shipping units that are to be taken out of existing deliveries.

When you split a delivery, you create one or more new deliveries, called

results, and remainder.

When you call the delivery split, specify a split profile to determine the type

of split. The split profiles contain control parameters. They are defined in

Customizing and assigned to delivery types.

Thanks,
