Hi,
What role is required for user to do change/ display for IR objects .
After role assignment is there any other configuration to be done.
Currenlty we can only see objects in IR, dont have authorization for change.
What needs to be done.
Thanks.
There can be some possibilities:
1) SWC may be locked. But it will show you the appropriate message that some other user has opened it.
2) Developer roles to you might not be assigned in su01, as discussed earlier.
3) [Restricted authorizations to Repository objects|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1721] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken]; might be implemented in your server.
If so get the required User Role,
OR you can go to Exchange Profile and check this property...
Integration Builder -->Integration Repository. If it is true you can set it to false. It will remove all User Roles, if there are any.

HI Swapna
Go to SU01 and check for the required roles are present with your user. Roles as given above
Check Michal blog provided above by Sarvesh if the restriction is applied in the same manner.
Thanks
Gaurav

hi,
Make sure that the SWC is not locked.
Double click on SWC and check if the check box named "Objects are modifiable" is checked.
If its checked, let me know the message you aree getting when you try to change objects.
Regards,
Venkat.
