What is COA(Chart of accounts)?

What is the function?

How it mapped and works.

chart of accounts are the set of accounts for the company - set of g/l accounts relevant for the company code

g/l accounts can be for balance sheet or profil & loss

for our wbs posting the g/l accounts are p&l accounts
