Intercompany Consignment PO error

Hello everybody,

we have maintained all settings for intercompany Consignment processing ; suddenly getting hard error while intercompany Consignment PO creation -Consignment within a company code not possible

Message no. ME646.

Could any body suggest why this error is appearing while creating Cross Company Consignment PO?

SAP IS-retail instance.

We have not set that message in Purchasing as error message.

Any hint /guidance will be really helpful.

IS your vendor of the PO is an site within your company code. ? Kindly check and confirm.

Thank you for your response..

We resolved the problem ..both the site & DC were accidentally assigned to Same Company code ..resulting in that error

Now I am getting another error -when I am creating Intercompany PO from Store To DC ( Store as Vendor ) & DC as Receiving Plant , getting strange error-Customer ( DC No ) does not exist -check entry.. Do you have any idea if any thing is missing in Site master related to customer for DC which is giving that error..

Any help or guidance will be really helpful..thanks
