hi all,

I received an error message by saying 'Material ## is not listed therefore not allowed'. What does it mean?How to solve this problem?

Dear Joanne,

Reason for error could be because of the Material Lisiting that is active for Material ## for selected customer(s).

The material listing/exclusion type determines, during sales order processing, whether the system checks for listing or exclusion records.

Material listing controls the sale of specific material(s) to a customer(s).

Customers can only buy materials included in the material listing assigned to them. The system does not allow you to enter materials that are not included in the material listing in a sales document for a customer.

To View existing Listing - T. Code: VB03

To maintian new Lisitng for customer/ material:

T. Code: VB01

List/excl.type: A001

Hello,

The Material Listing is active for the customer. You may check the list using VB03. If this maerial is not in the list, you may change the material listing and add the same using VB02.

Customers can only buy materials included in the material listing assigned to them. The system does not allow you to enter materials that are not included in the material listing in a sales document for a customer.

Dear Joanne

Go to TCode vbo3 and check whether the material is included in the "Listing" for that customer. If not, include the same in vbo1 and retry.
