Copy Control F2

I am reviewing the copy control for document F2-Invoice via menu path IMG > Sales and Distribution > Billing > Billing Documents > Maintain Copying Control for Billing documents.

Are the settings I have correct? See below:

Billing Quantitiy = B

Pricing Type = G

Price Source = BLANK

Can the price source field be left blank or should it have a value of "X"?

If i am not wrong you asked your query about the copy control VTFL .so the price source can be left blank.

You're right! I am in VTFL - why can the price source be blank in there?

Hi sam

If you maintain price source then ,system will check the source document price and it copies the price into preceding document.So if you don't maintain the price source then as per the requirement we can change the price in the preceding document also. And system copies the price as per the item category ,say in VOV7 there is a field billing relevance, so as per that system will copy the price .
