When we start E2E Exception Analysis application to see errors on the
Solution Manager ABAP stack and we Jump-in into the errors (SM21_E2E,
for example) we get a logon Pop-up with the fields User and Password
empty (only System and Client fields are passed).
The problem occurs with Solution Manager ABAP stack system only. It
means that the SSO-Ticket certificate exported from the Java stack of
Diagnostics server is working well for the others managed systems.
FYI, SSO is setup for Diagnostics as per SAp note 1121248. Also, BI is
located in the same Solution Manager system/client.
Is it working as designed, it's a bug or something is missing in the
SSO setup?
I got this same problem and got it fixed. This logon Pop-up because the URL of your E2E requesting to your ITS server is not in FQDN.
For my case, I go to Diagnostic Setup->Setup Wizard and change the hostname to FQDN. Hope this helps.
