Reverse PGI with partial quantity

hi

PGI done for 10 items, and client want to reverse only 5 items from the 10. This is in normal delivery scenario not with MIGO. But VL09 allowing to do total items to reverse.

Please let me know how to reverse partial quantity.

Dear Arshad,

One can't reverse Delivery Document, partially, via T. Code: VL09.

Say, your Delivery Doc. contained 10-items, when PGIed.

So, when you reverse Del. Doc. (via VL09), all 10-items of Del.doc. will get reveresed, as there is no way to open Del. Doc. and select-deselect items, to reverse.

Now, go to:

T. Code: VL02N

Key-in Delivery Doc. and hit Enter.

Now, select all those items (which need not to be PGIed) and delete them from the delivery document (down the item-level section, there is one icon with red-minus sign).

Now, your delivery document will be left with only those items, whic you wanna PGI.

Click Tab: Post Goods Issue.

Hello ,

With VL09 you can reverse entire quantity. partila quantity reversal is not possible.

As a workaraound you can now reverse the entire quantity and then cancel the tranfer order and delete the delivery.

Now go to sales order change the sales order quantity to 5 and create new delivery for 5 pieces for confirmation and PGI.

Also you can do this by chnaging the quanity in delivery directly to 5 and then cancelling the sales order at line item level as CUSTOMER CANCELLED ORDER, so that it is not considered suring next delivery cteaion run.

Just for your info,

In our client system we have configured diffrence indicators for this where we have taken account of two cases,

1. Overpicked quanity (sales order has 10 Units, but customer says during TO confirmation he wants 20 Units)

2. Underpicked(Reduced) quantity ( Sales order has 10 units but customer says during TO confirmation he wants 5 Units)

Hi,

It is not possible to peartially cancell a delivery document.

If your client want to reverse 5 out of 10 qty, then you need to create a return Sales order with reference to the order.

ands do PGR for 5 qty.

Dear Arshad

In billing, you have the facility to do partial invoice against a PGId document or cancel the billing document for a partial quantity but not for delivery. You have to cancel the whole delivery document via VL09.

I don't think the system allow you to reverse partial quantity from the PGI'ed delivery. You need to reverse it full then change the delivery quanitity and pick it and do the PGI .

Hi Arshad,

You can't reverse the PGI for one item/partial qty in delivery document.

You can do reversal of entire delivery in VL09 then go to VL02N delete the picking quantity & then delete the particular item. Once done you can again click post goods issue.

Or you can reverse the entire delivery & then delete the delivery & then create fresh delivery.
