starter for Net weaver

Iam an abaper with 2 years of experience, i want to learn Netweaver, can u help me from where i can learn..

Hi,

I would suggesst if you want to go for MDM just go for help.sap.com and afcoss that links as simona suggessted. as far as Netweaver is concern it's very huge sea. first make your plate clear to have the food.

In case of overview you can reach to net where you can get lot's of docs about net weaver.

Hi Neelima,

Since you have already worked in ABAP for 2 years, you can go for learning MDM, which is a hot cake now. It would help you in 2 aspects:

1. You will know a new technology which is in demand these days.

2. Also it will help you to use your ABAP skills in developing complex scenarios in MDM. So you can get a good learning in MDM as well ABAP.

Now coming to MDM specific. There are basically 4 components used in MDM for which we have a refernce guide.

1. Console

2. Import Manager

3. Data manager

4. Syndicator

You can start off by reading these refernce guides which will give you a fair understanding of the MDM tool and its capabilities.

By Netweaver to mean all the netweaver components like EP,XI MDM ABAP etc.

This forum is exclusively for SAP Netweaver Master Data Management.

So being from ABAP background learning MDM will be interesting and useful.
