Hi,
We have configured SMTP in our SAP system.
The outgoing mail is working fine in the application servers but not in central instance!!
It gives the error messages in tcode SOST as below:
Status txt: Cannot process message in SAP System
Info from Node: (Schedule Send Process on App.Server with Plug-In)

Is SMTP service activated on your central instance ?
It is possible that it is activated on your app servers and not on the CI server...

Hi,
The SAPconnect node is activated in SICF, also all settings for outgoing mail are done in SCOT as per SAP note 455140.
All above settings are done in SAP system as a whole and not per application server.
Kindly let us know how to check the SMTP service whether it is activated or not?

Please check that your central instance server IP is allowed to send mail through SMTP Server..
