ITS error when accessing Transational i view..

Dear All

we are using EP7 & IE7 ..when a user try to access the my meaasages in portal and it takes to SAP transation through UWL..when he tryies to appove it user gets this following errorr ..but we tryied in Firefox , its works only things is in fire fox its overlapiing ..

we need this to be run on IE7..

where do you want me to check trase files? portal trases or ITS. ITS i couldnt find anoy location where trace files gives some idea of this issues??

can you tell me the place whre i have to look for the trase files in Portal & ITS

Hello Buddhike,

The error message looks like it's from an ITS 6.20. Please go to your AGate and then the default location of the traces is c:\program files\sap\its\6.20\<virt.ITS>\traces.

Yes we are using ITS 6.20 why did you specifically told its from 6.20? is there any reason for saying this? iam bit new to ITS ..where can i find this AGate? i tryied to find this path you gave me ( c:\program files\sap\its\6.20\<virt.ITS>\traces.) ,cam up to c:\program files\sap\its\6.20\ but could find this <virt.ITS>\traces..does the trace tell the issue what iam fasing?

Hello Buddhike,

The <virt.ITS> refers to the name you choose for the ITS Virtual Instance. Some people choose something like ITS1, others choose the system name like PRD. This is whatever you choose at the time of installation.

I know it's 6.20 because of the error message and it's important mainly to tell you where to find more information at (traces).

Hello Buddhike,

There is an error message in there, but I'm not sure what the solution would be with just this trace. You may need to open a support message for this issue. But please do the following:

1. reproduce the issue, note the time and date

2. look at the diagnostics.log file (in the LOG directory, not TRACE directory) for an error at the noted time and date from step 1.

3. the error will have an agate component mentioned, like [agate,sapdiag ]. This means that the sapdiag trace file contains more information. if there is nothing after the [agate, ] then look at the general agate trace file.

4. upload these traces to your message along with steps to reproduce the issue.

Many thnx for your inputs..i have started instaling fresh ITS 6.20 , and getting a error when trying to configure IAC object reciver admin " Failed to register at R/3 rfc gateway.."

hedger can SAP coonect to our ITS server without a SAP routert? how do i configure SAP router for ITS ?
