Hi guys,
In r/3, there is this feature at the toolbar (Customizing of Local Layout > Hard Copy) where users can select to print. However, in webgui or sap html gui, this feature is not there and it doesn't appear we can print out the data when we are on infotypes (i.e. PA30 screen). Is this a limitation of SAP web gui? Can anyone shed any light on this? THank you!
Yes, I've been searching through all possible SAP Notes. None explicitly mention the limitation of that feature, thus I would assume that it is available in webgui but I do not see it. We've tried configuring the ~webgui_simple_toolbar values (as stated in Note 1010519) but to no avail.

Well, basically i'm asking if this is a limitation of WEBGUI...that it doesn't have this feature (HardCopy)? Pls anyone?

Hi ardhian,
If that's the case, where is the print button/feature in web gui? THe only feature i see is at Menu> System > List > Print, which is sometimes disabled on certain transactions. WHy is that so? And are there any other printing buttons/features on web gui? Or does this mean that we can only print certain types of objects?

hi zhenmin,
yes, SAPGUI for HTML or you called WebGUI has limitation on printing. This SAPGUI type only could print to PDF.
Check relevant SAP Notes for this and also check SAPGUI matrix compatibility.
