Source code versioning...

Hello I m Dakshata,

I M doing my masters in Enterprise Systems. N Doing my dissertation on the topic web dynpro for java.

Can anyone plz explain me what is source code versioning? Sun dsnt provide ths concept n thus it was implemented by SAP in NWDI..can any one explain me ths concept?

Source code is stored in the DTR (Design Time Repository) system of NWDI.

It keeps track of all the changes done by activities in NWDS and allows version control.
