Controlling file adapter timings

In PI 7.1, is there a new feature to control file adapter start / end timings i.e we want a file CC to start polling the target directory at say 2AM and end polling at 5AM with a polling interval of 60sec.

Hi,

Go to RWB, Adapter monitoring, in the top right, you have availability time planning.

You can set all conditions etc, for the specified communication channel.

Ya this feature is available and it is not a new feature. You can do it using the Availability Time Planning Feature in Runtime Workbench. Use the blog by Shabarish for the same:

Planning availability times concept is also available in PI 7.0.

Hi,

U can schedule ur file adpter from RWB.

1. Go to Runtime Workbench -> Component Monitoring -> Communication Channel Monitoring

2. Locate the link Availability Time Planning select the time interval for communication channel
