Error while importing Track in NWDS

Hello All,

I have created Track by following this document

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/f04a930b-893f-2b10-1bb1-85fcd510...

i have followed each and evry step properly and at last i have IMPORTED Track and finally track created.

Under Show Tracklist i can see my Created Track on http://<Host name>:<Port>/devinf

now the problem is at the time of Importing this track in NWDI it throws me this error.

Unable to open connection to host "<Host Name>:50000". The IP address of the host could not be resolved. Maybe the URL is misspelled or the host does no longer exist..

i can ping server sucessfully from NWDS but getting this error at the time of importing track

i have no idea what can be the cause of it.

any help will be highly appretiated.

Thanks in advance.

... of which server? It has to point to the SLD server.

Pascal is right.

NWDS talks to SLD to get info for NWDI.

In NWDS go to Windows->Preferences->Java Dev Infrastructure->Dev Configuration

URL there should point to the HTTP port of your SLD.

Take this url and test it in the browser by adding /sld:

http://<SLD Host>:<Port>/sld

You should see all your NWDI systems registered there and SLD should serve as a Name Server for NWDI

In CMS Domain Data SLD URL should point to the same http://<SLD Host>:<Port>
