My cutsomer is upgrading to SAP ERP 6.0 and they want to know if PLM must also be implemented in order to deploy any environment health and safety capabilities?
The software component is EA-APPL (SAP Enterprise Extension PLM, SCM, Financials).
That means that EH&S is not independent from the PLM extension.
In SAP configuration you should activate the PLM extension in order to use EH&S. Some parts of EH&S (ECM objects, SAP Menu entries, ...) will be in place when activating the PLM extension.
