Solution Manager fails Step 34: createJSF , howto install note?

Hello

I am installing SolutionManager 7 on Redhat using MaxDB. I get the already mentionned error

"createJSF was executed with status Error"

I did the following steps:

*download the note 1126481 ,

*connected with the system as DDIC via SAPGUI,

  • went to SNOTE to upload the Note 1126481

  • tried to apply it but I am not allowed:

first there is a warning to read the note which i did

then theres a message that DDIC is not allowed to change the System

whats going on?

Hello Christian,

thanks for your tip, it let me add the note, and now says "Completely implemented" in the Note Assistant.

But this doesn't help: still the createJSF Error.

What else could i do?

Hi,

what error message do you get in sapinst_dev.log? You could paste the last couple lines of the log file. This might help analysing the error.

Copy DDIC to another user ID and use that ID to implement the note.
