Problems with a SAP Portal Page

Hi,

I want to use one of the new components in the pdk 2.0 for .net, namely the SAP Portal Page.

Each time I create I new page, the Preview Modus gives me the following error:

Portal-Runtime error
Fehler aufgetreten bei der Verarbeitung eines Request für :
iView : N/A
Komponentenname : N/A

iView not found: pcd:portal_content/PDK_for_NET/KWGLaufverfolgung_IView/pages/MySAPPortalPage.
Exception id: 01:23_21/02/06_0003_605012450
See the details for the exception ID in the log file

This error occures too, if i have deployed the newly generated Page.

Do you have any suggestions?

Hi again Erhan,

The PDK for .NET 2.0, in addition to this feature, also introduced a new concept called "Publish". this will create content in the portal for you (it's a step you can do after deploy). This will save you the need to go to the portal and do "create from par" like in previous versions. (new content is created in special "content created with PDK for .net" folder in the portal's content catalog).

For the preview of the page to work, you need to do this step. This is also the only way to bring your page into the portal, since there is no "source code" directly involved here. you might have to close and re-open the page designer after you do the publish, to refresh the view.
