CN60 - Change documents to trace the changes in project

In order to trace the changes made in projects, we have activated the "Change Documents" in project profile customizing. On running the transaction CN60, the output is failed to display any changes and we are getting the message " No objects were selected using the criteria entered". However, if you open the project using transaction CJ20N and check the administration tab of the WBS, it shows the object was changed and the date on which it was last changed. We are talking about the situation after activation the "Change Documents" in project profile. May we request you to explain the failure of CN60 to display the changes in project.

Issue : 2 :

In case of collective run i.e. some transaction like create settlement run, collective run of RA, there may be some changes in project like creation of settlement rule, overwriting default RA key by RA key

defined in settlement strategy etc. How to trace or identify the changes occurred during such collective run?

there is something wrong in your system

lets start from begining - I suppose you have activated change doucments in project profile. Do check if the tick is in project profile on the right side and not the one under the status management section

If you have that correct tick in profile, then can you go into a project and then change a master data field, save and then run CN60 again to check if you can see the changes

only those fields that have change document ticked in the data element of the respective field will be recorded

the change recording is usually for basic master data and not for RA and settlement values - for this you need to run relevant cost reports
