Hi Muthu

Unfortunately, I can use only CSV format for uploading catalogs in CCM, not .txt

Hi Marina,

This text was typed with Russian keyboard so thats why your facing this problem.

the same text you type in english keyboard and save in csv format. it will workout.

check up with your supplier. Jason- Do you agree?

Muthu,

Of course you are right, if I upload text in English everything OK, but I need catalogs in Russian, that is why I used Russian keyboard.

I need catalogs in Russian, but I canu2019t upload it. Nevertheless I can create catalogs in Russian manually without problem!

Why?

Hi Marina,

SAP support cyrillic characters but there are restrictions especially in the category naming,

the following characters are valid for category id's in SAP CCM:

!"#$%&''()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`{ }~

(See class attribute /CCM/CL_DATA_ACCESS_CONSTANTS -> CO_VALID_ID.)

So if it is the category id that is the problem this is likely the reason!

Muthu,

CSV UNICODE file format is not supported in CCM

Jason

There I can find this attributes - /CCM/CL_DATA_ACCESS_CONSTANTS -> CO_VALID_ID?

Hi Marina,

Go to SE80 -> Class/Interface -> /CCM/CL_DATA_ACCESS_CONSTANTS -> Attribute -> CO_VALID_ID.

There you will see the values:

' !"#$%&''()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`{|}~'

Yes Jason

Now I have ' !"#$%&''()*+,-./0123456789:;<=>?@ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ[\]^_`{|}~' in the system

Could you tell me, how can I add Russian there?

Hi Marina,

For this, category id, you cannot without modifying this constant data (not advisable)

You should just ensure that your category names correspond to the characters contained in this set of numerals/data.

Jason

But it is not handy because where are no Russian character. And I have to upload catalogs in Russia.

Maybe I can add in this attribute Russian letters? Or do you know another solution?

Hi Marina,

This affects only category names/id's, other texts like short text etc are not affected.

However, for cyrillic characters you cannot use these in category id, you must then redefine your category naming convention perhaps making them numeric

Hi Jason,

Category ID is not a main problem. Of course I can make them numeric.

But I canu2019t upload value of catalog characteristic in Russian, for example /CCM/SHORT_DESCRIPTION - Short Description.

Do you have any idea?
