error while logging into DTR

hi,

I was using one NWDI server.But while switching into the new one , am getting the ping successful, but logging into it, itz trying to log into the old one and giving 'login falied' error.

Please do suggest.

Hi,

Do you have a valid userid and password for the new server, what i mean is are you authorised to access this server.

yaa i have got a valid username n pwd for this server but still it is not logging in.

Hi Parimala,

Try login in to the DTR url in ie with your userid

If it succesfully logs in ..then check your host file.

The host name might not be properly resolved by your machine .Try adding duplicate entries

like url is : abcd.de.sap/dtr

add entries:

10.XX.XX.XX abcd.de.sap

10.XX.XX.XX abcd

- Even doesnt work get your password changed by admin .Login in to url and re change password and try.

Hi,

If you don't have any pending,Open, or Unreleased activities associated with the Previous NWDI server then you can try the following:

Remove the Old configuration locally from NWDS,This will delete the DTR client as well.

close the NWDS And check that the old DTR client doesnot exist any more.

Again configure the NWDS with new NWDI server ,Ping the server if success

Try to login.
