EDIFACT standards in XI

Hi,

I want to use EDI standard messages like 850. How will you do EDIFACT & ANSI standards in XI. Do we need to write it or is there any external pacakages available to import into XI.

Hi

If you use SEEBURGER Adapters, I think there are some ready maps available between EDIFACT and Idoc .

Just check these threads/links-

And I think for mapping between EDIFACT to xml or etc, you can make use of ItemField Conversion Agent.

1. You can either use Seeburger Adapter (separate licence) for handling EDI related scenarios.

2. Other option is to use conversion agent.

3. You may wirte your own adapter module to hold this logic.
