SAP MDM Batch Import

Hello All,

Could any body tell me please how to use Batch Import automatically into SAP MDM. I have installed SAP MDM 5.5 sp 6 but I did not find ImportManagerBatch.exe file into the home directory as I have seen some examples in tutorials. I like to use Ports and automate the whole inbound and outbound.

Hi Naeem,

The Batch method of Importing is outdated in the latest MDM versions SP06.

You can use the Import server for automating your Import.

This method uses the Ports concept.

You will have to configure the Mdss.ini file and the ports details to perform automatica importing through the Import server.
