characteristic value not copied due to MRP3 plant specific configuration

Hi gurus,

I have activated plant specific configuration for a configurable material in MRP3.

I have created a Inquiry in VA11 using this configurable material & maintained one characteristic value there.

But when i am creating a quotation w.r.t. this inquiry, everything is copied except characteristic value.

However if I am using another configurable material in which plant specific configuration is not maintained in MRP3, then it copies the char value from inquiry to quotation.

Please suggest how can I copy the characteristic value from Inquiry to quotation.
