Java System Copy

Hello,

We want to do a system copy from production to quality for our portal (java stack). But we cannot have downtime for our source system. I assume since we cannot have downtime for our source systemn we cannot do and export import. Please suggest how we can go about it.

i think as far as your scenario is concerned, you can opt for the

Database-Specific System Copy

.

I hope you will be scheduling the backup regularly depending up on the backup strategy; you can use the same to copy your required system.

You can find the system copy docs in service.sap.com/instguides netweaver (7.0) -> installation -> under system copy select only java.
